Firstly, can we just take a moment to appreciate those brows! I mean seriously! Haha. Recently I was a part of an amazing photo shoot featuring a very well rounded, all female team. This was a portfolio shoot where we were really able to have fun! Like most shoots done in Chicago's Market we started off very clean and then got into the creativity,
What made this shoot so fun was the fact that 1. I had been on set doing strictly commercial work for a couple of weeks and I was DYING to express myself and 2. The whole team was so down to earth and just happy to be there! Being a part of this photo shoot was so inspiring for us all. We fed from one another's energy and I left with so many different emotions and a complete fullness that lasted for days (I honestly hardly ate for 3 days after). I'm realizing more and more through universal confirmation that while I may not be perfect, my love for what I do is really something incredible. As is the love that this team has for their passions.
At the end of the day you really have to push through your anxiety, fears and self-doubt to scratch the surface of your potential. While no one is going to do that for you, it helps to organically find a team, a friend, a partner, or some thing that pushes you to want more. Remember to never stay stagnant in your love. It's great to love things as they are but if you don't feel that heavy pull of evolution from what you do, if it doesn't inspire you in some way to be more, you may need to reevaluate the reason why you started. It's a process, sometimes lengthy, sometimes all of a sudden, but it's yours. LIVE. IN. IT!
